Tonight, Thursday 15th April, 12 clubs gathered at Sandfields Comprehensive School for the third annual Port Talbot 12 Way Battle. The clubs involved were Port Talbot (Hosts), Wakefield, Towy, Merthyr Tydfil, South Yorkshire Police, Neath, Morriston, The Vale, Gwynfa, Tenby and Swansea. Each club had submitted 4 prints and the judge, Les Loosemore AWPF ARPS had his work cut out. As usual Les judged with his usual panache and gave a very good account of himself. Our individual scores, however were only good enough to put us in 7th place at the end of the battle. Scores were – Linda Cowen “Snow Leopard on Rocks” 18, Tony Shadrach “A Tern Of Aggression” 17, Brian Callard ” Time Machine” 16 and Dave Edwards “Grey Wolves in Profile” 17, giving us a total of 68 pts. Club scores and positions are shown below.
