With a very small entry of 12 prints and 15 PI’s the evening was destined not to drag on. Panic started to ensue when the judge (Robert Lloyd) hadn’t arrived by 19.50 and thoughts of the chairman and committee members doing a song and dance routine to pass the evening was causing unsettled murmurs in the club. Rob did arrive at 20.00 (a breakdown in communications) and the evening kicked off. The Greenacres duo done the double with Dave Edwards (Puma in a Tree) and Linda Cowen (Come Back, I Don’t Bite) taking first and second place in the Print section with Tony Shadrach (Tern of Aggression) coming third. The PI section went virtually the same way with Dave ( Snow Leopard Hill Climbing) and Linda (Black Leopard) again taking first and second place, Don Rees (Blast Furnace) took third. So the challenge for 2009/10 is all over and all that is left is the presentation of the awards on Tuesday 25th May at the Coach House, Longford. Well done to all for taking part in the seasons competitions and I know that we will all rise to Dave and Linda’s challenge for next season with some interesting themed competitions on the agenda.
