Thursday the 23rd February saw Aberdare, Bridgend, Neath, Port Talbot, Rhondda, The Vale and Pyle & Porthcawl battle it out.
We had a strong start with Domination by Dave Edwards giving us 18 points, this was the highest score in the round.
Next round we scored 17 with Haydn Thomas’s Emerging Zebra (Helconius Charitonia), this put us in a good position as we went into the third round.
Gnoll woods scored 14 points this was Arfon Johns image. Keith Hall at Brecon jazz by Roy Edwards scored 16. Then came our last two images, Strange Worlds by Colin Kelly 14 points and Cliff  by Will Howells with 17 points, giving us a total of 96 point.
This was not our best performance in a battle this season but with only 4 point separating all 7 clubs it was a tight competition. Well done to all that entered
