Last night saw the climax of our Competition Year with the Print and PI of the Year. All the Prints and PI’s must have been the originals used in any of the Clubs Internal Competitions throughout the Year. Re-mounting and re-touching was not allowed. The Judge for the evening was Mr Gareth Martin AWPF form Cymru Monochrome and the newly formed Phoenix CC. Gareth contacted me prior to the competition because he was so impressed by the standard of the work he wanted to award top marks to more than one. Eventually winners were decided and the winning images can be seen in our on-line gallery. Congratulations to Arfon John for his winning Print ‘Slam Junk’ and also to Dave Merchant for his winning PI ‘Christian Clifford Up Close’. Just a tip to the shy of you Dave is a relatively new member (less than 12 months). Well done to you both.
