The observant of you will have noticed a few members missing on Tuesday night, (quiet wasn’t it without HT), this was due to members supporting our club at the annual Bill Stephens Memorial Trophy at Abertawe CC. This year Abertawe dcided they wanted all new and totally unseen work for the battle so the challenge was on. The judge was our old friend Les Loosemore AWPF ARPS DPAGB and the standard of entry, so I am told, was very high. I had a text message from Denice telling me we were in 2nd place at half time so we were doing well. The final result couldn’t have been closer with 3 clubs Abertawe, Morriston and Neath all finishing in top place with 109 point, closely followed by Port Talbot (104), Mumbles & West Cross (101) and Swansea (95).Â
