Merry Christmas to all our members. The new year will see a flurry of activity on the DPI front, The PAGB cup needs at least 20 first class images, we will be up against the whole country for this event. closing date for this is early January Ace of Clubs, needs 30 at least good images again on DPI, this will be held at Talbot Green and will be worth coming too (Sunday 17th Feb ), closing date late January, Also worth having a crack at on your own is the two international salons The Swansea international (where you can enter prints (unmounted) or Dpi’s in 4 different categories ,General, Nature,Travel, and Prints. Closing date 11th January. entry forms from the website the Welsh International Projected Image salon another individual entry there , 3 sections, General (inc creative),Natural History (inc wildlife) and photo travel, this closes 2nd Febuary and will be judged over 2 days on the 15th and 16th Febuary In addition to these we also have an away battle at Porthcawl where we will need DPI’s and a home battle in march again DPI’s One point to note DPI’s can now be 300 ppi not 150 ! and portrait dpi’s or the international should be 768 on the vertical side , (Not our battles yet !)
