Summer Programme

1. As with last year this will consist of a local outing every Tuesday evening – meeting at the Club House at 6.30 p.m
2. Together with visits on weekends to appropriate photographic opportunities.

Tuesday Evenings – each week we will chat about the following weeks travel plans – usually local beauty spots, beaches, marinas, mountains, waterfalls, wetlands etc. etc.

Any ideas or suggestions will be welcome and perhaps we can provide a 3 or 4 week agreed programme to allow some people to avoid travelling to Neath. Transport is usually by shared cars with 3,4 or even 5 per vehicle (Unless Cliff brings his Big Van!) Wet evenings can quickly become informal studio evenings or even Photoshop teach-ins. Apart from at least one Tuesday night when we will turn up in working clothes suitable tooled up to tackle the annual maintenance of the Club and it’s surroundings.

2. South Wales Boat Show, Margam Park & Lake, June 15^th,16^th,17^th.
3. Bristol Balloon Festival, Ashton Court. 9^th August to 13^th August.
4. Bristol International Kite Festival, Ashton Court, 1^st/2^nd September
5. Skomer Island Boat Trip – early Summer.
6. RIATT – RAF Fairford 14^th/15^th July
7. Aberdare Road Racing (M/Bikes) 28^th/29^th July

9. Red Bull Air Racing – London – 29^th July. Practice on 28^th July
10. Full weekend trip to North Wales.

Now obviously these events need some increased planning and commitment, e.g. we can get inside the Aberdare track given notice and numbers. The other events also need commitment to ensure we have sufficient cars for the journey. So start thinking about which you are interested in and let us know.
