Sorry for the delay in reporting this For this battle we welcomed Amman Valley, Mumbles and West Cross, Trostre, and for the first time for a long while Port Talbot, who had sportingly stepped in to the breach at the last minute due to a late withdrawal. Our Judge for the night was Ray Rees from the Llanelli Club. Ray was his usual cheery self and expressed his pleasure that the images looked better on our screen than on his monitor, it really does seem to be the slightly underexposed images that project better for our screen !
Top scorer for us was terry Goss with “My Boy”, I had a 18 points for another rally car even though he said he hated motor sport , Arfon’s image of “Laura was next with 16,Julian’s version of “Eve” followed with 15, Haydn’s “over the last ” was next best with surprisingly only a 14 and finally with a image that baffled the judge on a technical point was Dewi’s “Industrial Extract”
Not our best night, some low scores for images that have in the past scored very consistently but congratulations go to Port Talbot for their first battle win with 98 points closely followed by Amman Valley on 96 , we followed on with 95 to take 3rd place whilst Mumbles and Trostre filled the remaining two places.
