Tuesday night saw the first of our themed competitions Industrial Landscapes. Talking to a few of the club members, the common theme was “how to get something that others haven’t got” what with security problems and the lack of industry in the area. The turnout of prints and PI’s was a little low (20 prints & 21 PI’s) but the variety was suprising.
The judge for the evening was Les Loosemore who stood in at the last minute (many thanks Les). He spends so long at the club he’ll be claiming squatters rights soon. Les arrived with his masking frames and stands in tow and the evening was off. As usual Les gave a very honest and impartial view of the Prints and PI’s and kept every one in suspense with his unique style of marking. The top three of each category are as follows.
