During my talk I refered to the work of Edward Weston who always tried to “Make the commonplace unusual”. He maintained that ordinary everyday things could be photographed to make good pictures.
The challenge is to produce a picture (Projected Image or print, mono or colour) of something “commonplace” or everyday but seen in a new light.
During our March 17th meeting, any takers of the challenge will be able to show their images and maybe become NPS’s version of Weston! It’s not a competition but an exercise in “seeing” and hopefully a bit of fun too.
