On Oct 12th, eight NPS members attended the battle with Pembrey CC and AVCC at our host’s new venue at Glanamman Community Centre where we received the usual warm and friendly welcome. Our judge for the event was Diana Ashill LRPS who critiqued each photograph with great positivity and sensitivity, and found our images very pleasing indeed. She was extremely impressed with the quality of mounting at NPS.
 This 3-way battle was divided into Prints (eight from each club) and PI’s (another 8 from each club) giving a total of 48 images doing battle.
I’m happy to report that all NPS images gained high praise and  highscores, including an outstanding five 20’s, and we won both sections convincingly.

- Â 1st Neath PS = 150 points
- Joint 2nd Pembrey CC and Amman Valley CC = 137 points
PI Section
- Â 1st Neath PS = 144 points
- 2nd Pembrey = 137 points
- 3rd Amman VCC = 136 points.
 Overall Result, NPS in 1st Place, Pembrey CC 2nd and Amman Valley CC 3rd.
 Many congratulations to all members who had pictures selected and did NPS proud.
