A dirty night to travel meant your chairman and I were slightly late arriving at “the Rest” at Porthcawl for the annual 6 way battle that this year would be for DPI’s only .
Dewi joked as we crept in that ” last in, first place”. Well it was not until 1/2 time that we could check the scores, a good solid start had us equal first with Vale,Rhoose and St Athan and Pixels 06 runners up, Rhondda, 1 point behind.”2nd half saw us consolidate on our early scores and pull away slightly to eventually give us a comfortable 5 point win over Vale who had 97 to our 102, with Rhondda and Rhoose and St Athan well back on 93.
Our first outright win this season, well done , Terry, Cliff, Haydn, Julian and my first selected dpi for the club too.
