Pixels 09 – Results

Saturday afternoon, whilst some were watching either the footie or the rugby, others were enjoying themselves in the company of 31 of the best clubs in Wales.  Yes once again it was Pixels.  The host club Gwynfa welcomed everyone and introduced the judge Gwen Charnock FRPS MFIAP from the Wigan 10 club.  We were in for a good afternoon. Our first image ‘Food on the Wing’ by Tony Shadrach scored 18 and our first mono image ‘Mirrored Image’ by Brian Callard scored 15 so by half time we were in joint 8th place with a score of 33.  After a marvellous buffet we were of again.  Round 3 (our second colour image) ‘Freedom’ by Sian Gittins scored 17, any chance of a finishing place was on our second mono image ‘Sagittal’ by Arfon John.  Alas although the judge liked the style of the image she didn’t think it would quote “Go any further” so only marked it 15.  End of the day saw us in joint 9th place with a score of 65.  Club positions and scores are shown below.
