The Bill Stephens memorial 6 way battle was held last night
at Abertawe and there was a good turn out. I attended with Arfon John and
listened to all that was said by the judge Dianne Ashell.
The six prints selected were Barn Owl in the meadow by  Dave Edwards AFIAP that scored 20, what a great start. Next to come was Just Fishing by Haydn Thomas DPAGB AFIAP with 18 points. The third round with Retired by Cliff Emery CPAGB with 19 points, this meant that by half time we were 3 points up on our nearest rivals Port Talbot camera club. After the break came Craig and Maize by Colin Kelly CPAGB who scored 20 points. The 5th print was Come back I don’t bite by Lynda Cowen with
18 points. At this stage we were still up by 1 point which meant it came down to the last print. This was called Trees, Snow and Bracken by Brian Callard which scored 20 points.
After this score we knew we had it in the bag.
