Hi Alan, Your bug I believe is the Common or Rose Aphid - Macrosiphum rose which can be either green or pink in colour. This is the bug that is sometimes farmed by ants for their milk.

These critters have a fascinating asexual and sexual life - makes good reading if you enjoy long words in Latin :lol:

I believe they can lay eggs or give birth to live young and also pregnant live young. The mind can only boggle
