I have a fascination with bridges and admire the engineers who build these enormous structures. Interesting to compare modern construction techniques with those of the past. I wonder if modern bridges will last as long as the Cefn Coed Viaduct.
It was surprising the amount of vibration felt in the existing road bridge as I photographed the new A465 bridge construction. Made me wonder how vibration was dealt with during construction of the stone/brick built Cefn Coed Viaduct.
