Just imagine how terrifying this critter would be if it were able to grow to a couple of metres in height. Luckily our gravitational pull and the laws of mechanics prevent such a thing happening.

Did any of you see Quatermass and the Pit many years ago? In fact, the first episode was broadcast by the Beeb on December 22nd 1958. I was ten years old and terrified. The aliens were grasshopper-like, Brilliant stuff.

Quatermass - blimey, that's a while ago Peter but I do remember seeing it on a black and white TV.
