Nice job Alan - well rescued. You say "First attempt" - are there others?

Thanks again Arfon. This was my first attempt at retieving more information out of the Calotype, I was hoping to work on the original image again in the future to try and Improve on it, but this is the only edit so far. Saving both images and Stuarts recent photograph side by side, makes it easier to spot the changes and restoration work gone on between now and the time the Calotype was captured.

This morning I discovered that the term Calotype was formed from two Greek words: Kalos = beautiful, and Tupos = impression.
